We understand the frustrations that many managers and employers are experiencing trying to manage a workforce that is working remotely at least part of the time. Trying to build a team culture, communicate and treat everyone fairly can be much more difficult when your team is working in different places.

Good employers will have a framework for remote and hybrid working and communicate this effectively. Line managers will be empowered to set fair expectations and given the right tools to manage their team, whenever and wherever they are working. This two-hour event will cover:

  • Having the right contractual and policy framework to enable remote and/or hybrid working
  • Options for employers to consider: fully remote, hybrid, core hours, team days
  • Ensuring employee engagement and dealing with employees who are reluctant to engage
  • Leadership styles to create an empowered work team
  • Strategies to enhance communications and engage others remotely
  • Managing conflict face to face and remotely
  • The commercial and legal consequences of getting it wrong.

The event will be an informative and useful insight into this tricky area of management and legal challenge, providing a toolkit to empower you to have a more effective approach to hybrid working.
