Much is written about leadership (and management) and there are well celebrated theories, yet in our opinion many of them only work when you are in large or complex organisations.

We’ve used our experience of working with a plethera of different sized organisations to create what we think is a list of core areas which relate to all leaders, irrespective of the size of the organisation they work in, and development in these areas would lead to enhanced performance even for solo-preneurs (those working alone in their own business).

Leadership skills are one of the core areas we focus on and we hope you like our new model.

Personal Brand

 

What is Personal Brand?

Your Personal Brand is what others say about you when you leave the room and it needs to be just that….personal to you.

For those in leadership positions, projecting their own authentic personal brand helps them to attract and retain the right staff, builds trust with suppliers and colleagues and contributes to the wider reputation within the business.  It is estimated that 84% of buyer processes start with a referral, with between 83 and 92% of people reporting they would trust a recommendation to a person within an organisation over just a referral to the organisation generally.   Personal Brand really matters.

Action Learning

 

What is Action Learning ?

Involves a small group (usually 4 to 6 people). It is a method to discuss problems, work together and take actions to resolve problems. A concept originally developed and labelled by Reg Revans in the 1980s.
